Video mapping tour

The Video Mapping Festival is back in Noyon and this time offers a mapping tour in several stops around Notre-Dame Cathedral, to highlight the richness of the medieval heritage and the reconstruction of the city centre.

Facade of the Notre-Dame de Noyon Cathedral:

► Transform
In an abstract universe, this mapping mixes a maximum of mediums to explore a multitude of textures and materials in 3D.

Supervision: Hamza MRABET
Animation: Samuel GADENNE, Hamza MRABET
Original music: Virgile GUIOST
Cloister of the Notre-Dame Cathedral – immersive mapping:

In the cloister of the cathedral, a stained glass video mapping presents the history of the city of Noyon, from the Gallo-Roman era to the coronation of Charlemagne and Hugues Capet, and the legend of Saint Médard or the Normans’ attack.

Supervision: Johann ETRILLARD
Animation: Johann ETRILLARD, Simon LEBON
Original music: Erick BEJARANO
Chapitre Library:

► The canon and the devil
A small canon is quietly looking after his library, when big menacing eyes appear above him. This evil being will then try by all means to destroy the building.

Supervision: César PAYRAT
Animation: Johanna ALBERT, Diane KLENES, Alicia MONNOT, César PAYRAT
Original music: Erick BEJARANO

► Animated Bark
This micro mapping at the height of the youngest presents a graphic game in traditional animation, on the theme of metamorphosis.

Direction and animation: Johann ETRILLARD
Original music: Erick BEJARANO
Dauphin’s Fountain:

► Evanescent
A colourful and musical setting that catches the eye! The fountain is no longer a static object, but a living thing that tries to adapt to its environment.

Direction and animation: Patrick GRANDI
Original music: Géraldine KWIK
Hallway of the Chevalet – videogame mapping:

► Super Bibot 3000-beta
Prepare for battle in an arcade game that puts you in control of surface-seeking light beings. Like a futuristic foosball table in the public space, impose your alternate reality in this team-based game (up to 9 players, games of approx. 1 min 30)!

Develoment: Ludovic BURCZYKOWSKI, with the support of Sylvain POUILLART, Adrien TISON
Music: aLb (2A record)
