Monument video mapping
The Video Mapping Festival comes to Condé-sur-l’Escaut for one evening! On the programme, a creation made by mapping artists on the façade of the City Hall, and 3 mapping on the Saint-Wasnon Church made by the inhabitants of Valenciennes Métropole during participative workshops.
As a bonus, discover on each of the venues the restitution of a collective work created by young professionals during a video mapping training course.
As part of J’ai dix ans – Le Bassin minier fête ses 10 ans d’inscription sur la Liste du patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO !
City Hall:
► RGB QUEST
Eden, a small floating creature, settles down to paint the landscape before her. An eclipse appears and drains the shimmering colours out of the scenery. Eden then embarks on a journey through multiple environments in order to find the coloured prisms of Red, Green and Blue and restore all their colours to the landscape.

► 2122: The Species Odyssey
In the Ice Age, Croc the caveman warms himself by a flame. The flame comes to life and escapes through a time portal. Our prehistoric hero goes after it through ages.

Video mapping created for the Video Mapping Festival organised by Rencontres Audiovisuelles.
Some of the creations were made during a Collective Operational Preparation for Employment (POEC) training and during participative workshops.
With the support of the Hauts-de-France Region, Drac Hauts-de-France, Valenciennes Métropole, as well as the European Union (educational workshops offered as part of the European Cinematopedia project).
In collaboration with the City of Condé-sur-l’Escaut, and the cities of Aulnoy-lez-Valenciennes and Quiévrechain.
The POEC training is offered by Rencontres Audiovisuelles and Filage, in collaboration with Pôle Emploi and Afdas.
