For its closing, the Video Mapping Festival returns to Amiens for one weekend with a video mapping tour in the city centre to discover the different forms of video mapping: monument mapping on symbolic building, immersive mapping, interactive mapping, dance-mapping performance… 8 creations to be discovered at your own pace!

For the best experience, we recommend that you walk the circuit in a clockwise direction.
However, you can start the loop wherever and whenever you want, and follow the tour at your own pace!
The creations are shown in a loop from 7.30 pm to 11 pm (unless otherwise stated).

► City Hall – immersive monument mapping (3 craations)
Place de l’Hôtel de Ville
Duration: approx. 8 min
3 European artists and collectives will share the facade of the City Hall to offer their own vision of video mapping by taking on the lines and volumes of this emblematic monument. Thanks to their varied styles, universes and inspirations, they will give you an overview of the diversity that video mapping can offer!

► Beffroi – monument mapping

Inspired by the work of the artist M.C. Escher, this video mapping takes us back to his impossible constructions, his exploration of the infinite and his play of patterns that transform.

► Saint-Germain Church – indoor immersive mapping

The Saint-Germain Church opens its doors and transforms itself thanks to an immersive experience that will not leave you indifferent.

A video mapping made in only one week by students from the animation schools Waide Somme and Ésaat during a video mapping workshop.
► Old Theatre – interactive monument mapping

This interactive mapping will make you rediscover the Old Theatre without even crossing the threshold! Wander from the facade to the backstage, through the auditorium and even the stage…
